Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels Festival

9 – 23 March 2022

In the centre of a white studio space stands a person covered in a big ball of yellow tulle fabric.

I’m truly excited that Sadler’s Wells is hosting Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels Festival:  a fascinating survey of some of Europe’s leading choreographers, showcasing for London audiences the vibrant French contemporary dance scene and presenting some classic modern works. The key words here are risk, variety and daring. Audiences are in for a thrilling fortnight of decidedly different work, and I urge you wholeheartedly to take the plunge.

Alistair Spalding, Artistic Director, Sadler’s Wells

Festival of contemporary dance featuring eight companies over a two week period, with performances at the Sadler’s Wells Theatre, Lilian Baylis and EartH theatre in Hackney (additional events at Tate Modern and Royal Opera House). You can make the most of the festival by booking to see performances in both the Lilian Baylis and the Sadler’s Wells Theatre on one night.

A survey of contemporary dance, revisiting classic works and delving into the future voices of the art form. Starting with their first collaboration with Balanchine, Van Cleef and Arpels continue to support radical work that pushes the boundaries of modern dance with an international scope.
