Equality, diversity and inclusion

The Company of Elders dancers rehearse in Sadler's Wells Theatre

We believe everyone should have access to dance.

We’re always looking to remove barriers so more people have the chance to experience dance and all it has to offer. We want to reflect and respond to the world through dance. So, we’re proactively creating an environment that does just that.

We value and respect diversity of thought and lived experience. And we want everyone to feel welcome, whether that’s presenting or watching the work our stages, attending a workshop, joining our team, following us on social media, or dropping into our venues for a coffee.

Equality, diversity and inclusion are extremely important to us. Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Steering Group has been running for a number of years, helping us hold ourselves accountable and make important changes.
