Learning and Engagement
Our Associate Schools programme and our partnerships with local community organisations help people of all ages connect with our artistic programme and experience all aspects of a performance.
We have a number of initiatives designed to nurture young talent. These include the National Youth Dance Company and Young Associates, which play an important role in developing the next generation of exciting and diverse dance artists.
From online workshops and community schemes, to projects performed for the public – there’s something for everyone, no matter your ability, background or dance experience.
If you’d like to know more about our programmes, head to take part.
Company of Elders
We set up a resident over-60s performance company to promote the positive role dance can play in older adults’ lives. Each year, a group of 20 non-professional dancers work with a prominent choreographer to make and perform work.
National Youth Dance Company
We host National Youth Dance Company. The Company brings together some of the brightest young talent from across the country to work with internationally renowned companies and our Associate Artists.
Get into Dance
We run this community scheme that invites people from our local areas to experience dance. It’s designed to reach new audiences, including people from low income households, over 60s, young people and disabled people.
Sadler's Wells Culture Club
Sadler’s Wells Culture Club encourages you to discover new passions (or develop existing ones) through dance and the performing arts. There are talks and workshops that explore creativity, dance and the artistic programme at Sadler’s Wells.
