Breakin’ Convention International Festival of Hip Hop Dance Theatre
For twenty years Breakin’ Convention have been revolutionising the hip hop scene in London and across the world. This year they are throwing their biggest party ever.
In addition to the festival at Sadler’s Wells there will be lead in events across London, a nine city UK tour and special performances from The Ruggeds.

Breakin’ Convention Workshops
Sadler’s Wells Studios – 29 & 30 April
The Breakin’ Convention festival’s workshop programme is a hot house of technique, challenge and creativity. This is your opportunity to hone your technique or try dance for the first time, learning from some of the best hip hop, house and funk style dancers from across the globe.
After Party
SCALA – Sun 30 April
Where the celebrations continue. Breakin’ Convention’s notorious after party returns with a night of hip hop culture in full effect. Come get down, meet the artists, and join us in celebrating 20 years strong!
Park Jam
Spa Fields Park – Mon 1 May
Taking things back to the roots of the culture, this jam is suitable for the whole family. A funk-filled, open-air dance, music and art filled extravaganza. Park Jam is a free event and capacity is limited so we recommend arriving early.
