Get dressed to impress at a cabaret-style small band evening as we open this year’s Festival in style. Fireball Sessions will create an inspiring, spontaneous and supportive collaboration between musicians, artist and the audience, breaking beats and breaking down the fourth wall.

A hot house of technique, challenge and creativity. This is your opportunity to hone your technique or try dance for the first time, learning from some of the best hip hop, house and funk style dancers from across the globe.
After Party
O2 Academy Islington – Sun 5 May
The notorious after party returns with a night of hip hop culture in full effect. Come get down, meet the artists, and join us in celebrating another classic festival! Expect the very best of hip hop, Afrobeat, house, and R&B all night with.
Park Jam
Spa Fields Park – Mon 6 May
Park Jam has earned a reputation as one of the UK’s realest hip hop events. Taking things back to the roots of the culture, this jam is suitable for the whole family. A funk-filled, open-air dance, music and art filled extravaganza.
Freestyle Funk Forum

Saturday and Sunday at 4.30pm
Running time: 30 minutes
Freestyle Funk Forum is an hour of improvised theatre in hip hop’s answer to ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’
No two shows are ever the same in this spontaneous collection of skits brought to life through the elements of hip hop from dance and beatboxing to turntablism and rap.
Freestyle Funk Forum will take place on Saturday and Sunday and is scheduled around the main stage performances so they do not clash.
