This documentary film celebrates the amazing achievements from the first decade of the National Youth Dance Company (NYDC) and the far-reaching impact on all those involved.
For the last 10 years, NYDC has brought together talented young dancers from across the country to work with leading artists and create world-class performances. NYDC is England’s flagship youth dance company run by Sadler’s Wells. With interviews from Guest Artistic Directors, including the renowned choreographers Jasmin Vardimon, Akram Khan and Wayne McGregor; they discuss their unique experiences of leading the company. We also hear from the company members themselves on being part of this life-changing process.
Directed by long time NYDC collaborator Ben Williams; this film tells the story of one of the UK’s most significant talent development programmes.
