Pina Bausch
Sadler’s Wells and Pina Bausch first worked together in 1982 with her company, Tanztheater Wuppertal. They returned in 1999 with Viktor, in 2002 with Masurca Fogo and in 2005 with Nelken and Palermo Palermo. In 2008, the company presented her seminal works, Café Müller and The Rite of Spring, followed by a performance as part of Sadler’s Wells Celebrates.
Pina Bausch was hugely influential and we’re proud to have worked with her and Tanztheater Wupperta.
