The Rose International Dance Prize

The Rose International Dance Prize – a brand-new biennial prize for original dance creations in any style from across the globe.

Sadler’s Wells presents the four shortlisted pieces, each work selected for its top choreography, distinctive style and performance quality. Alongside the Rose Prize, the Bloom Prize celebrates artists with up to ten years choreographic experience.

A jury of five judges (Professor Christopher Bannerman (Chair), PJ Harvey, Karthika Naïr, Dame Arlene Phillips and Dr Samuel Ross MBE) will announce the Rose Prize winner with a £40,000 prize and the Bloom Prize winner with a £15,000 prize in a special event at the end of the competition. The Bloom Prize contenders will perform for the opportunity to win a £15,000 prize.

The Bloom Prize 2025

Each piece performed as part of the Bloom Prize must be a maximum of 60 minutes, and can be in any dance style.
