A group of dancers performing on a blue light tinted stage

England’s young dancers show us their moves!

Making Moves is a brand new choreography and performance project, inviting school and youth groups from across England to show us their moves.

Over the past year, 48 groups worked with digital choreographic toolkits created by four exciting choreographers – Alesandra Seutin, Dannielle “Rhimes” Lecointe, Jordan Douglas and Oona Doherty. Using these toolkits they created brand new choreographic pieces that they then performed at regional platforms across the country.

From this nine groups have been selected to perform at the National Platform, sharing their creativity and talent on the Sadler’s Wells Theatre stage.

The groups selected to perform are: 28 Dance Company, Obsidian, Curve Young Dance Company, Langley Park School for Boys, Hampshire Youth Dance Company, Ceyda Tanc Youth Dance, Stockport Grammar School, Barbara Priestman Academy and Stacked Wonky.

Join us to witness the talented next generation of dancers and choreographers.

Making Moves is run by Sadler’s Wells and supported by Barclays. For more information on the project or to apply for Making Moves 24/25, click here.

Relaxed Performances A Relaxed Performance is a less formal theatre experience for anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a show. They support noise and movement within the auditorium during a show, re-entry when needed so house lights are left on throughout, and a separate chill-out space for anyone who might need it at any time during their visit. We also provide a Visual Story so people can familiarise themselves with the theatre and key details about the show in advance.
